Donkey Parade
Forty decorated donkeys are being displayed in local shop windows in Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding area. The donkeys, which are made from fibreglass and resin, are being sponsored by local businesses and will brighten up the town during the autumn months.
The donkeys will be on display until October 2011, when some of the donkeys will be auctioned off for BBC Children in Need. One of the donkeys will be raffled off with all money raised going to the RNLI. This auction and raffle will give people the chance to own their own donkey!
